DZHUS SS24 COLLECTION "THESAURUS" IS EXPLORING GENDER FLUIDITY AND ARCHITECTURAL EXPERIMENTATION

The latest creation from DZHUS, the SS24 Collection "THESAURUS," has showcased at Fashion Weeks in both Paris and Berlin. This new collection, curated by creative director Irina Dzhus, is laden with symbolism, delving into the concept of a transformative journey through allegory. DZHUS' signature designs revolve around the archetypal notion of gender, skillfully deconstructing traditional elements of the classic dress code. DZHUS embraces a more versatile, gender-fluid aesthetic in response to an increasing demand from a male audience. This shift is also a personal reflection from Irina Dzhus, who identifies as a nonbinary individual. The collection offers a dialectical response, challenging conventional norms and presenting looks that transcend traditional gender boundaries.

Consciously opting for a monochromatic palette, Irina Dzhus strategically eschews color to allow for maximum exploration of architectural shapes and technological experimentation. The Spring Summer line is a canvas of complex cut concepts, introducing fresh ideas for garment transformation while preserving DZHUS' signature styles. The "THESAURUS'' collection unfolds with a range of allegorical designs, each offering rich modification opportunities. Standout pieces include a dress featuring a detachable balaclava, imitating a bust mannequin for jewelry presentation; a reconstructed shopper bag made from blazer details; an evening gown replicating a tie; a statement bra arranged from two caps; and a bridal outfit with a veil sculpted from gloves, fashioned as a wreath.

Designed for all individuals, regardless of gender, the SS24 collection invites everyone to play with the garments and unveil their personal style. DZHUS' signature lies in design concepts that transcend gender norms, catering to style-conscious individuals who appreciate the fluidity of fashion expression. DZHUS continues to push boundaries offering a thought-provoking exploration of gender fluidity and architectural experimentation. Irina Dzhus' deliberate choice of monochrome allows the designs to take center stage, emphasizing the brand's commitment to transcending traditional gender distinctions and providing a canvas for individuals to express their unique style.
