Avant Gardist Pop-Up at The Finerie Celebrates Independent and Sustainable Fashion

This weekend, Avant Gardist hosted an exclusive fashion pop-up at The Finerie, a conceptual, multi-label store known for its carefully curated selection of local artistry, from fashion and furniture to lighting design and home essentials. The Finerie goes beyond traditional retail to offer a lifestyle destination where practical, beautiful, and thoughtfully crafted items converge.

Our event highlighted cutting-edge, independent fashion brands under the Avant Gardist umbrella, introducing them to the local scene and to clients who value sustainable, slow fashion and unique design. This special showcase included everything from jewelry by Japanese designer Kudo Shuji, pieces from Hong Kong’s Blank Concept, and Ivonnovi designs inspired by the Bauhaus movement, to sculptural fashion from Phenotypsetter and Yeung Chin. Visitors also had the chance to experience gender-fluid pieces by Vincent Li, merging art and fashion in unforgettable forms.

A standout was Modement, whose one-of-a-kind items merge wearability with an artistic edge through vibrant patterns and innovative cuts. Meanwhile, Yan Xu, a Paris-based slow fashion brand, presented simple yet sophisticated monochrome designs that emphasize layering, fabric quality, and subtle pattern contrasts, offering timeless pieces that reflect the beauty of minimalist fashion.

The weekend at The Finerie was bustling and vibrant, bringing together fashion lovers, design enthusiasts, and advocates of sustainable style. The Finerie, with its spacious and beautiful interiors, offers the perfect platform to showcase creative projects like ours and to support local designers and artists. We hope that this successful pop-up event marks the beginning of a long and meaningful partnership between Avant Gardist and The Finerie, one that will continue to enrich the local creative scene.
